In reply to Eli. My dynamo outputs 3W which powers the lights just fine. I can't tell whether or not my light is dimmer than my riding companions because I have not done a side by side comparison with the same Busch & Müller Eyc-T light. Perhaps you and your friend have different versions of the Edelux? There are three different versions of the Velogical dynamo for different riding speeds as well. I would confirm that you have the correct model. Good luck!

This bike is beautiful. I love the logo-free components.

How has your experience been with the Velogical dynamo? I have one on my 700c randonneur bike and, while it’s functional, I’ve ridden alongside folks with the same headlight (Edelux) and a generator hub and their lights were much brighter at the same speed. I have wondered if it’s worth messing with the angle/pressure/position of the dynamo or if the performance I’m getting is the most I can expect.
