I’m excited that this one will be headed to Montréal! It has been a long time coming as many bikes are these days. Setbacks came in the form of acquiring parts (surprise) and issues at the chrome plater. Everything worked out though.
This one has my latest cantilever brake geometry which has a little more stopping power than my previous design. It also incorporates rear rack braze-ons to accommodate bags that use the Ortlieb 3.1 mounting system.
It might not seem like it, but that rear rack was the most difficult aspect of this build. Getting the bends, cantilever mount, and the fender mounts straight with the braze-ons in the correct orientation was a challenge!
