So I built myself a new bike! It’s in the style of an allroad touring bike but with fenders. Tires are 650×48. Weighs in at 25lbs with racks/lights/fenders. I painted it the same color as our tandem (turf green) so this trailer I built would possibly get some more use. Side note: I finished the tandem/trailer project in 2016 just before our son was born. And then it was a different kind of trailer attached to the tandem so this one has been patiently waiting for this moment. I’ll probably just pull it down for some shopping runs from time to time. It cleaned up nicely. There are a lot of details on this pair but I’ll let you look for them.
